2009-2010 Board Elections

At our May meeting, we will be electing our board for the next school year. While our nominating committee is currently reviewing the applications that have been submitted, candidates may still be nominated from the floor during the election.

Executive Board

	President Presides as chairperson of all membership meetings and Executive Board meetings, serves as the chairperson of the Communications Committee, and represents PAGE in any activities related to the education or interests of talented and gifted children. The President must have served on the Executive Board for a year prior to serving as President.
	1st Vice President Serves as chairperson of the Program Committee
	2nd Vice President Serves as chairperson of the Membership Committee, recruits members in PAGE, and keeps membership records

	3rd Vice President Serves as chairperson of the Fundraising Committee and organizes fundraisers
	Secretary Keeps accurate minutes of all membership meetings and Executive Board meetings and is responsible for correspondence
	Treasurer Manages the PAGE bank account and keeps all financial records

Appointed Board Positions

	Elementary School Coordinator Serves as chairperson for the elementary school GT community and is a liaison for communications to all individual elementary schools
	Intermediate School/Middle School Coordinator Serves as chairperson for both the intermediate school GT community and middle school committee. Serves as a liaison for communications to all individual intermediate and middle schools
	High School Coordinator Serves as chairperson for the high school GT community and is a liaison for communications to all individual high schools
